The Operation Sindoor

Decoding Pahalgam Terrorists attack and Lessons India should learn from Operation Sindoor.

The deadly terror attack on 22 Apr 2025 on the tourists in Pahalgam was a shock for the whole nation. It was not the first terror attack on Indian soil but we have to decode and analyse it. First question is that how the terrorists reached to Pahalgam unchecked? We need to enhance our internal security and system. The attack was done by The Resistance Front (TRF) is a proxy outfit of the terror organisation Laskar -e-taiba, which is a Pakistan supported and Pakistan based terrorists organisation. It was a different type of attack in mainly three respect : First is the timing and location of the attack. Timing when Kashmir is flourishing economically due to increase in numbers of tourists and so  location was also a tourist place. Secondly, the religion was asked to create a divide among Indian population which might have escalated civil unrest. Third one was that terrorists dared to challenge the de facto head of the state by saying that " ja tere PM ko bta dena" to create a sense of insecurity among Indian people and to raise a question on the state's capabilities to safeguard its citizens.
So, the challenges against the state: first challenge was to give a befitting response to this terror attack and that should be ethical to avoid international criticism. Second challenge was to instill sense of security among Indian population. Third challenge was to avoid domestic religious divide.
Fourth challenge was the geopolitical situation as China support Pakistan and Bangaladesh lost its democracy and closer to china.
How the Government tackled all the challenges and delivered a strong message:- The Indian government conducted a very precise and calculated strike on terrorists infrastructure by avoiding any civilian casualty. The strike was the demand of the time to secure and instill people confidence in the government and to give befitting reply to the culprits. The Indian government conducted this strike by upholding international ethics and values. But when Pakistani military came in support of their terrorists and targeted civil, military areas in India, Then India retaliated with upgradation and hitted pakistani air bases that also just to make it handicapped so that further escalation avoided. It was the first time when India crossed international border with pakistan after 1971 war which was not expected by Pakistan. It was shock for pakistan and failed it's nuclear blackmail tactics. So, India by using its right to  self defence gave a befitting reply to Pakistan. By doing so, India succeeded in instilling the sense of security among its population and also won the confidence of its people in the government. The information of the strike on Pak is given by two female officer - Col. Sofia Qureshi and Wg Cdr Vyomika Singh, representing Hindu-Muslim unity and women role in taking the revange for the victims women in the terror attack. Thus, the purpose of the terror attack totally defeated. The Indian society was totally united and supported the Government.
Pakistan's air bases were destroyed deep inside the International border. Russian purchased S-400 neutralized all Pakistan missile and drone attack towards India. There is digital evidence to conclude that Indian Air Force (IAF) fighter jets, ground-based missile systems, and the S-400 air defence system downed four Chinese-made Pakistani jets and two large military aircraft — likely a C-130J and a SAAB 2000 AWACS platform — during Operation Sindoor.
Turkish-made 'Songar' armed drones which was used by Pakistan military was failed to breach Indian Air defence system and destroyed successfully. It was a frustration for both Pakistan and Turkey. Chinese Wing Loong drones were also destroyed in airspace interceptions and base attacks. India’s Akashteer and SAMAR systems achieved a 100% success rate during the campaign. India also downed F-16, F-35 jets of America and JF-17 of China successfully. It is setback for both America and China as both too much talk about military technology advancement.
S-400 which India purchased from Russia proven a very effective shield against missiles attack. India also deployed Israeli Harop Drone to neutralize Pakistan's air defence system and it was a success.
Indian Brahmos hitted with precision by breaching Chinese air defence system HQ-9P used by Pakistan. Thus, if we see this short conflict as a technology demonstration, we can see that Indigenous air defence system - Akash, Indigenous missile - Brahmos are the winner among others indigenous weapons discussed above like SAMAR. The world was witnessed the precision and effectiveness of Indian weapons systems during the conflict. It has increased the demand of Indian armed system and give a boost to the Indigenous production and export of these weapons. Now, India moving towards totally importer of military weapons to net exporter of military weapons.
MPs delegation to different parts of the world which consist of MPs from almost all parties shows our togetherness and unity. These delegation was just to convey India's message that though India believe in peaceful coexistence but if provoked, India have the very right of self defence and capabilities to give a befitting reply to the cowardly terror attacks. Another aim of this delegation was to expose Pakistan that it is a terrorism factory and the world need to take urgent call on it. But the world largest body UN made Pakistan the head of anti-terror committee. India that always follows ethics even during the war get this unethical and non humanitarian response from the UNSC which is responsible for establishing peace in the world. The permanent members of UNSC always acted in their national intrest. India, being a sovereign nation, is committed and capable to safeguard humanity by acting as responsible global power in the intrest of global community.

The question of 90 hour work week

Is 90 hour work- week sustainable? It will enhance the crony capitalism and damage the democracy. The 90 hour work-week is highly debate able after the L&T Chairman's statement. Many Chairmans and CEOs of the top institutions give their responses. Some employees also give reactions on social media. Maximum top executives favour longer hours week and almost all employees wants five days work week. Both have their own point of view. But let's analyse what is good for the country.
